Subway sandwich artist helped plan robbery, Meridian Police say

MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) -- A 27-year-old Subway employee has been arrested for his role in allegedly assisting in a robbery earlier in the week.Meridian Police says Casey Allen Riele was working at the restaurant on Fairview Avenue when he assisted in the robbery and helped 35-year-old Brandon Jack Timpson carry out the heist.
MPD says they received a citizen tip, led them to Timpson. Officers were investigating whether a weapon was used to carry out the crime, however, police now believe nothing was present during the time.
Both men have been booked into the Ada County Jail on felony robbery charges.
