Floyd Mayweather is known for having a close relationship with several young boxers with potential. This includes Devin Haney, Shakur Stevenson, and Gervonta Davis. However, over the years, his relationship with Haney deteriorated because of his beef with Bill Haney. Similarly, Mayweather’s relationship with Davis has also gone sour, with both of them beefing on social media. This has prompted Ryan Garcia to reveal the truth behind it. 

Back in 2023, Davis was still quite close to Mayweather, which was seen during his fight with Garcia. However, ironically, a year later, Garcia is now closer to Money, while Tank and the former champion appear to have issues with each other. This was seen when Davis claimed that Mayweather had unpaid debts in Dubai, and he also threatened to knock out Mayweather when he saw him. KingRy revealed that their relationship soured after:

It was believed that Tank and Mayweather split ways because of several disagreements. However, KingRy, who is now close to Mayweather, revealed that their relationship got ruined after Davis allegedly slept with Money’s daughter. He also mentioned that he is not exposing this since it is a well-known fact. 

This means that Davis allegedly had an intimate relationship with Mayweather’s daughter, Yaya Mayweather. Garcia doesn’t seem to be trolling since he remarked how he empathizes with Money since Garcia also has a daughter. 

Garcia and Desi Banks Facetime with Mayweather 

After his recent victory over Devin Haney, Garcia has been on cloud nine. He has been linking up with several celebrities and well-known figures, like Donald Trump. Furthermore, he recently also met the famous comedian Desi Banks and even FaceTimed Mayweather while being with him. 

The interaction between Banks and Ryan Garcia was quite wholesome. The comedian appeared excited after coming across the young boxer. Subsequently, Banks started talking about Garcia’s fight with Haney and mentioned how he noticed that KingRy used the shoulder roll. The 25-year-old revealed that he learned it from Mayweather himself. 

After this, Garcia offered to Facetime Floyd Mayweather so that the comedian could speak to the legendary boxer. Money picked up the call, and Garcia greeted him and introduced Banks. The comedian told Mayweather that he noticed the technique that Money passed down to Garcia. He then said he was the ‘reason for the season’ which implied that Mayweather was partially responsible for the victory.
