A point guard stuck in that big a** body! Bam Adebayos full potential yet to be UNLOCKED, c
Miami Heat veteran Mike Miller recently on the OGs show asked Michael Beasley about a rumor that he had never been beaten one-on-one in his entire life. Beasley surprisingly revealed that there was one player who had managed to beat him – Bam Adebayo.
Beasley believes that Bam Adebayo has the potential to be a dominant force in the league, but is not taking enough shots to showcase his abilities. He noted that Adebayo’s elbow work is “so nice” and that he has the potential to score 30 points per game on 50% shooting if he takes more shots. Beasley’s comments suggest that Adebayo’s full potential has yet to be unlocked.
That’s the only n**** who beat me. Bam (Adebayo). Y’all don’t know how good Bam is. Bam a point guard stuck in that big a** body… Bro if Bam takes eight more shots a game bro he’d be all over 30 a game. Easy 30 on 50% shooting.Michael Beasley said on the OGs show
Adebayo’s unique combination of size and skill makes him a formidable opponent on the court. At 6’9″, he has the height and strength to dominate in the paint, but he also has the ball-handling and shooting skills of a point guard. If he can find a way to unleash his full potential, he could become one of the most dominant players in the league.
Last season, Adebayo averaged 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, shooting 52.1% from the field and was also named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team. With his impressive stats and notable achievements, Adebayo is already making a name for himself and is getting ready to represent the USA in the Paris Olympics.
Bam Adebayo eyes Udonis Haslem’s rebound record
Bam Adebayo is eager to break Udonis Haslem’s franchise record for career rebounds, and he’s looking forward to having a little fun with it. Adebayo is currently fifth in Heat history with 4,275 total rebounds and is on pace to break the record during the 2025-2026 season while Haslem owns the mark with 5,791 rebounds.
Adebayo joked about this during an appearance on the Tobin and Leroy Show about his plans to celebrate breaking the record, saying he’ll throw the ball like he’s won a national title. He also playfully threw shade at Haslem, saying he’ll present the ball to him if it’s a home game and tell him he’s now second. Adebayo expressed his respect for Haslem, saying he’s the one person he’d want to break the record.
That is one record I cannot wait to break. Because when I break it, you might think I won a national title the way I might throw that ball. I hope he's at the game and its at home.Bam Adebayo said during an appearance on the Tobin and Leroy Show
Haslem played all 20 of his NBA seasons with the Heat, retiring after the 2022-23 season. He now does a podcast with Mike Miller and makes appearances on ESPN as an analyst.
